Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng (centre, right) talks with Wu Chou Kit (centre, left) chairman of the general meeting of the Macau Institute of Engineers (AEM) and other representatives of the professional body at Government Headquarters yesterday. Senior officials of Ho’s office also attended the meeting. According to a statement by the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS), the two sides exchanged views on Macau’s sustainable development and the training of young people. Ho said that the government’s various large-scale development projects would bring about many opportunities for Macau’s civil construction sector. He also underlined his government’s commitment to promote the teaching of science,technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Wu is an appointed lawmaker.
