Macau Museum reopens its 1st-floor permanent exhibition area today

The Macau Museum, which is run by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), has concluded a comprehensive safety inspection and enhancement work of some of its facilities, and will reopen the permanent exhibition area on the first floor today, the bureau said in a statement yesterday.

In order to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus, cleaning and disinfection procedures have been reinforced at the museum, and all visitors are required to wear facemasks, undergo temperature checks, present their personal health code declarations and cooperate with the government’s crowd control measures, the statement noted.

The museum close to the St. Paul’s Ruins is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Mondays. More information is available on the museum’s website www.macaumuseum.gov.mo.The museum is focused on Macau’s human history which stretches back 6,000 years.
