Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) hosted an M-Mark Enterprise Sharing & SME Business Matching Session at JW Marriott Hotel Macau yesterday.
The initiative was to support the M-Mark Macau Product Quality Certification (M-Mark) and increase collaboration with local small- and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs)
Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre (CPTTM) and representatives from two vendors who previously acquired the M-Mark certification introduced and shared the benefits of the certification.
After the sharing session, members from GEG’s Procurement team met with more than 100 local SMEs that specialise in Food and Beverage, Corporate Products, Hospitality Products, Marketing Services, Property Services, Technical Parts, IS&T and Gaming during the business matching session.
Based on the “Large Businesses Leading Small Businesses” business model, GEG’s Broadway Food Street is a hallmark example of how large-scale integrated resorts cooperate with local SMEs.
GEG has been providing local SMEs with a variety of opportunities for business development. In addition to prioritising local companies and brands in its procurement process, GEG also provides them with training and technical advisory services. – gegpr
