A biennial exhibition organised by the Photographic Society of Macau (PSM) for it’s members is being held in Lou Lim Ioc Garden.

The event is co-sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and Macau Foundation (FM) and supported by the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM), according to information provided by the society’s website.

According to the website, the exhibition aims to enrich their members’ “life in photography” and to improve their photographic skills. The society has been holding the exhibition every two years since 1984. The PSM members’ participation was “particularly active” this year, according to the society’s website.

There has been no specific theme for the exhibition. However, the website pointed out, some of the photographs on display this time reflect Macau’s situation under the COVID-19 epidemic.

One of the photos depicting the impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic on Macau was taken by a former reporter of The Macau Post Daily, Michele Iu Pui Ieng.

The exhibition is open daily at the Chun Chou Tong Pavilion in Lou Lim Ioc Garden until October 9 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.

As part of the government’s COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures, all visitors entering the public park must wear a facemask, have their temperature checked and present a digital health code.
