The findings of a survey conducted by the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) released yesterday show a decline in customer satisfaction with local restaurants, recording just 69.8 points, a decrease of 0.9 point compared to the same survey conducted last year.

Chan Lai Kow, who heads the university’s Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD), released the results of the survey during a press conference on the MUST campus in Taipa.

According to the scholar, the survey, titled “Macau Consumer Satisfaction Index 2016”, gauges local residents’ shopping experiences in Macau and Zhuhai. Chan’s centre started the annual survey in 2007.
