The woman is a 40-year-old mainlander, who went for a dip in the swimming pool with her family on Monday, the statement said.
The PJ statement said that the woman and her family members went to the pool at 4 p.m., the statement said, adding that she was found unconscious in the middle of the pool at 4:40 p.m. after which the hotel staff and other hotel guests helped pull her out of the water, and called the emergency service.
The woman’s heartbeat was restored for a while, but she eventually died.
