The private University of Saint Joseph (USJ) announced yesterday that it will enter into a formal partnership with Alliance Française de Macao.
According to a USJ statement, the partnership will be formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) tomorrow.
The statement said the aim of the partnership was “to strengthen relations and promote activities and projects of mutual interest.”
Planned joint initiatives include cooperation on the internationally recognised French language proficiency diploma DELF-DALF, the statement said.
The MOU will be inked tomorrow afternoon by the director of Alliance Française de Macao, William Bascaule, and USJ Rector Rev. Prof. Stephen Morgan, the statement said.
The signing ceremony will take place in the Senate Room (Academic Building, 4th floor) on the Catholic university’s Ilha Verde campus.
