The Macau Government Office (MGTO) said in a statement on Friday that the Grand Prix Museum will hold six themed workshops for three consecutive weekends from November 19.
The “Dynamic Racing Car Workshops at Macau Grand Prix Museum” will revolve around three themes, namely “Racing Car Neon Sign Design”, “Fluid Car Painting” and “DIY Assembled Remote-Control Car”, according to the statement. They will be held from November 19-20, 26-27 and December 3-4, with the sessions held from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The statement noted that the workshops will be held in Cantonese and each can accommodate up to 10 participants aged between 5-12 accompanied by an adult, and those aged 13 and up.
The statement added that a lucky draw will be held to decide the list of participants after signing up. Those interested can visit https://eservice.macaotourism.gov.mo/registration/registerMGPWorkshop.php until 5 p.m. today to choose the workshop theme and date, as well as their name and contact details.
Those chosen, the statement said, will receive and email confirmation on Wednesday. They must buy museum admission tickets within the designated period on the corresponding date in advance. There will be no participation fee, the statement noted.
The statement added that MGTO will act in line with the government’s COVID-19 pandemic prevention work and require all visitors aged three and up to wear a facemask, undergo a temperature check, scan the venue QR code and present a valid green Macau Health Code. Venue disinfection of the indoor and outdoor facilities are also carried out accordingly.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Tuesdays. For more details and ticketing, visit mgpm.macaotourism.gov.mo/en.
