Wynn Palace has recently passed an audit conducted by the third-party certification agency SGS Hong Kong Limited and acquired the international food safety management system certification of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), underlining that the company’s food safety and production management are at the forefront of global standards and requirements.
The HACCP certification is an internationally-recognised food safety management standard system that complies with the international food safety standards, guidelines and code of conduct set up by the International Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC), an official body established by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). The requirements aim to protect the health of consumers.
In order to meet the HACCP requirements, Wynn formed a committee from more than 10 key departments, specifically responsible for the establishment of the HACCP system, and carried out an 18-month certification process.
At a time of increasing pandemic control measures, this HACCP certification further underlines Wynn’s strict regulations on food safety and hygiene, as well as its commitment to ensuring the health and safety of employees and guests.
