A new ferry link between Macau's Taipa Ferry Terminal in Pac On and Jiuzhou Port in Zhuhai will start on March 1, Macau's Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) has announced.
According to yesterday's announcement, the route will initially run 10 round-trips a day.
According to the regular sailing schedule published by the bureau, the first Jiuzhou-bound ferry will depart Taipa at 9:10 a.m. and the last at 8:40 p.m.
An informed source has told The Macau Post Daily that the voyage takes about 30 minutes.
The bureau said that Yuet Tung Shipping Co. Ltd ran recently a number of trial runs between the two ports.
Jiuzhou Port lies some 9 kilometres north of Macau.
