Gaming operator Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) said in a statement on Monday that its team members worked with the Macau Youth Volunteer Association (AJVM) and co-organized a Lantern Festival event to promote responsible gaming.
According to the statement, the event was held at Hang Heong Un, one of Macau’s renowned Chinese dessert shops at Broadway Macau.
The statement noted that over 50 parents and children were invited, adding that they made glutinous rice balls (“tangyuan”), solved lantern riddles, played responsible gaming-themed booth games with GEG and AJVM volunteers and enjoyed the traditional festival with their families. The statement said that through the event, GEG hopes to raise the participants’ responsible gaming awareness and promote family harmony.
The statement said that in response to the annual theme of the local government’s responsible gaming promotion in 2020, GEG has been collaborating with different social service organisations to launch a string of activities, aiming to promote responsible gaming and family harmony.
