Shake Shack announced in a statement recently that it is opening its first store in Macau at The Londoner, and its soft-opening will happen in mid-2021.

Shake Shack Macau partnered with local illustrator and artist Kun Lam for a pre-opening mural. Lam’s creative work portrays the culture of Macau by incorporating the pattern of Azulejos (Portuguese tiles) and street signs with Shake elements. Walking by the mural, guests experience scenes from Macau’s Portuguese heritage blending with Shake Shack’s New York City roots.

For those who are wondering what will be served at the Macau Shack, the statement said, “With a fine dining heritage and commitment to thoughtful ingredient sourcing, preparation, hospitality and quality, the Macau Shack will continue to serve classics, such as the iconic ShackBurger® , crinkle-cut fries, craft beer, lemonade and freshly spun frozen custard. Shake Shack is partnering with local producers for Macau-exclusive menu items, so stay tuned for more details.”
