The Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) said in a statement yesterday that it will launch a digital version of its Senior Citizen Card next month.
According to the statement, in order to stay aligned with the government’s digital services’ development, the bureau has decided to launch a digital version of the Senior Citizen Card on April 22. The statement pointed out that both the digital version and the physical version of the Senior Citizen Card will be accepted at over 170 outlets in Macau.
The statement said that the holders of the Senior Citizen Card can enjoy discounts and free gifts at certain outlets such as medical service centres, shops, eateries and continuous learning centres.
The statement pointed out that the bureau will launch the digital version of the Senior Citizen Card on WeChat, adding that residents can go to the bureau’s WeChat account to take a screenshot of the e-version of the card.
