This spring-summer season, Urban Kitchen at JW Marriott Hotel Macau presents a delectable tour of enticing cuisines from Southeast Asia, in addition to the current international buffet delights that allow guest to savour exotic flavours – cuisines from Thailand in April, Singapore and Malaysia in May, and the Philippines and Vietnam in June.
This April, the cheerful “Amazing Thailand” food fanfare will include Leng Saap Mountain Pork, Tom Yum Goong (Spicy Prawn Soup), Thai Crab Salad with Creamy Coconut Lime Dressing, Pad Thai Noodles, as well as Coconut Sticky Rice with Mango.
Sharing similar climatic features, guests will be transported to Singapore and Malaysia in May. The a-la-carte includes Malaysian Sambal Lobster, Bak Kut Teh (Pork Rib Soup), Singapore Pepper Crab and the authentic Kapitan Chicken Curry.
For some pleasantly zesty and fragrant dishes, guests can explore a variety of choices from the Philippines and Vietnam cuisines selected for June. Food in the Philippines is well-known for its unique combination of sweet and sour flavours, while Vietnamese food is a harmonious combination of five basic sensory tastes: spicy, sour, sweet, salty, and bitter, creating its distinctive flavour. In June, the restaurant will offer dishes such as Pork Belly Roll Lechon (known as “Lechon de Leche” in the Philippines due to its Spanish influence), Butter and Garlic Shrimp, and Seafood Kare Kare.
Guests can indulge in the Southeast Asian delicacies at Urban Kitchen from April 6 to June 30 (except May 7-9 Mother’s Day weekend, and June 18-20 Father’s Day weekend). Marriott Bonvoy members and Macau residents can enjoy an exclusive 25 percent discount on the regular buffet price from 568 patacas and 285 patacas per adult and child respectively, on selected days. – jwmpr
