Residents can now buy admission tickets for the city’s public open-air pools online, a Sport Bureau (ID) statement said yesterday.

According to the statement, besides Estoril Swimming Pool, commonly known as San Fa Yuen, which opened earlier this month and will remain open until November 30, the other four public open-air swimming pools – Dr. Sun Iat Sen Pool, Taipa Central Park Pool, Cheoc Van Swimming Pool and Hac Sa Park Swimming Pool – will be opening tomorrow until October 31

The statement said that in order to cut down the queue for people purchasing tickets in person, residents can purchase their entry passes online after registering for membership on the bureau’s website. The statement stressed that each member can only buy one adult ticket and two children’s tickets (below the age of 12) online.

The statement said that residents must enter the pool in the first 30 minutes of each session and they must take along their receipts and membership cards.

Meanwhile, the bureau encourages residents to participate in sporting events, therefore any resident can sign up to become a member through the bureau’s website on https://member.sport.gov.mo.

The statement also reminded residents to follow the Health Bureau’s COVID-19 prevention guidelines to wear a facemask when entering the venue, have their temperature checked and display their valid Macau Health Code. For more information, one can visit www.sport.gov.mo or call 2823 6363 during office hours.
