Starhall Landing, an art festival, was held by Hotel S over the weekend.
The hotel is located on Praça Ponte e Horta in the Inner Harbour area.
The event, which started on Friday and finished yesterday, comprised four different activities. According to a statement by the hotel, these consisted of a marketplace with nearly 30 different booths, a guided tour of the hotel’s graffiti and illustrated art work, a tote bag spraying activity, and special offers at the hotel’s restaurant.
“Roomart”, which the statement describes as a special marketplace set up inside guest rooms, was held on the 11th, 13th, and 14th floors of the hotel. The statement added that the festival comprised nearly 30 different stalls promoting and selling various products.
“Check-in at Hotel S” was the name of a guided tour of the hotel’s graffiti and illustrations on different floors of the hotel, which the statement said are not normally open to the public.
“Spray your Tote” was a tote bag design activity, which was held on Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7. 30 p.m. The activity allowed guests to design their own tote bags under the guidance of a professional, the statement added.
The statement highlighted that the hotel also offered special prices for drinks at The Square Café & Portuguese Restaurant for visitors to the festival.
The statement further added that this month an art tour is open to the public. Two 30-minute sessions at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. will be available on Thursdays and Sundays.
