The statement said the aim of the event was to promote Macau as a healthy, safe and quality destination in order to attract more mainland visitors to spur Macau’s tourism and economic revival.

The statement pointed out that the booths at the road show will have various themes, and it will also have performances on the main stage, such as lion dance, dragon dance, Portuguese folk dance and Wing Chun Martial Arts.

The statement noted that the event will provide a total of over 100-million-yuan (nearly 125 million patacas) special travel offers on air tickets, hotel accommodation, dining and other tourism products. The statement said that MGTO will also have an extensive promotional campaign for the Macau Week in Shanghai through various online and offline platforms while leveraging influencers from the mainland.

According to the statement, MGTO, Bellagio by MGM Shanghai and MGM Macau will together roll out a food promotion from June 4-17 to promote Macau as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.
