motorcycles dropped by 53 percent year-on-year to 529 million patacas in the first five months of the year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday.
Mobile phone imports fell by 50.5 percent to 1.97 billion patacas. Imports of watches decreased by 42.3 percent to 1.65 billion patacas. Gold jewellery imports declined by 24.7 percent to 2.17 billion patacas.
Total exports fell by 5.5 percent to 4.3 billion patacas. Re-exports accounted for 84 percent of all exports.
