The Macau Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) announced late last night that it cancelled all tropical cyclone warning signals at 1 a.m. today.
At 2 a.m. today, Severe Tropical Storm Cempaka was located about 190 kilometres west of Macau, moving northwest at around 10 km/h.
The weather station had hoisted Standby Signal No. 1 at 5 p.m. on Sunday and Signal No. 3 at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Signal No. 3 was lowered to Signal No. 1 at 11 p.m. yesterday.
No storm-related incidents were reported in Macau while the warning signals were up.
