The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday that the “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2021” event is launching six Art Tour sessions during the summer for residents to tour the Main Exhibition, Special Exhibition of Resorts and Hotels, Public Art Exhibition, Creative City Pavilion, adding that the signup starts tomorrow at 10 a.m.
All sessions are free of charge.
According to the statement, the Art Tour will take place on the weekends of August 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22, allowing participants to spend the weekend with artwork. The statement said the participants will meet up at a specific location and travel to different venues for various exhibitions in a shuttle bus. The statement said that the free-of-charge tours are only available in Cantonese and those who are interested can sign up on www.icm.gov.mo/eform/event.
The statement noted that there will only be six sessions and each session has 20 spots, which will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. The statement pointed out that those who successfully sign up for the tour will receive an SMS five days prior to the event. The statement underlined that there will be more information about the tours announced in due course. The statement also said that associations and organisations are welcome to sign up as groups.

The bureau also reminded residents that participants in the tour must comply with the Health Bureau’s (SSM) COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines such as wearing a facemask at all times, having their temperature checked and displaying a valid Macau Health Code of the day.
