From first-to-Macau and trend-setting restaurants curated by award-winning chefs to self-established dining options, Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau is a gastronomy hub for worldwide food lovers, offering a delicious variety of cuisines to enthral the senses.

Discover the delectable flavours and tantalising aromas of authentic Macanese, Portuguese, regional Chinese, Asian, and Western cuisines, prepared and served in surroundings that feature extraordinary interior designs, exquisite ambience and outstanding service – all underpinned by SJM’s longstanding and exemplary culinary expertise.

Mesa

Meaning “Table” in Portuguese, Mesa offers a contemporary cuisine inspired by the country’s tradition of sharing of food and drinks. Mesa features a statement cocktail bar designed as a traditional Chinese bird cage, guests can enjoy unique cocktails created by our Master Mixologist, Portuguese fine wines and petiscos (small plates of traditional Portuguese dishes). Mesa’s interior, designed by Karl Lagerfeld, features a bold, blend of contemporary design and oriental inspiration.

Chalou

Moreover, Chalou (“teahouse” in Chinese) pays homage to Canton’s traditional tea house culture with a truly authentic “yum cha” experience through its design by the famous Hong Kong designer Alan Chan, who integrates art and culture into intricate details, such as the restaurant’s stunning domed ceilings decorated with thousands of Chinese tea cups and elegant chandeliers crafted with hundreds of crystal chopsticks, echoing the glass bamboo steamers wall of the semi-private rooms. Evoking nostalgia for the culinary traditions of a Canton tea house, Chalou revives memories of a retrospective dim sum trolley service and savouring teahouse classics over lively conversations.

Grand Buffet

In addition to that the city’s once most popular buffet restaurant with the longest buffet bar in town at Grand Lisboa Macau, The Grand Buffet has returned featuring a reinterpreted Asian marketplace concept. Offering guests sumptuous all-day dining to enjoy a lively atmosphere and lavish dishes overflowing with the season’s freshest ingredients, the 18 live-cooking stations serve an extensive array of international delicacies embracing Chinese, Pan-Asian and Western cuisines. Prepared in the dedicated outdoor barbecue pit, the first of its kind in Macau, the seasonal grill offerings change daily, while a wide variety of seafood from live fish tanks can be cooked to satisfy any preference.

Wulao

One of Taiwan’s most popular hotpot brands, this restaurant is Wulao’s first and exclusive branch in Macau and Hong Kong. Wulao offers diners a relaxed, contemplative atmosphere evocative of a Fairy Peach-blossom Village and aspects of “Heaven on Earth” through traditional Chinese colours, patterns, and architectural elements. In this striking and comfortable setting, guests can enjoy and appreciate true Taiwanese gourmet hotpot cuisine, accompanied by Wulao’s attentive service and rituals. The restaurant uses the freshest ingredients and products imported directly from Taiwan, including those used in the secret recipes for the signature Layered Tofu and Spicy Wulao Broths, to ensure that each meal represents the unique and authentic flavours for which it is renowned.

The Grand Lisboa Palace also has Eight Treasures, GLP Café, GLP Lobby Lounge and Bar Carat for people to explore during their culinary journey.           – glppr
