We will sit on the fence as far as our coverage of the current election campaign is concerned. We do not support any of the 14 direct-election lists, but neither are we against any of them, considering that all of them have been officially approved by the Electoral Affairs Commission for upholding the Macau Basic Law and being loyal to the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) – two requirements that have our support. From today until next Friday we will strive to profile the 14 lists in a neutral, objective and factual way, aiming to help potential voters make up their minds. We will profile the lists by the order on the ballot paper. Each profile will include one photo. The length of each article will range between 300 and 400 words.
