CTM chief executive officer Vandy Poon Fuk Hei said yesterday that granting its public telecommunications service concession to a “new team” might “not be the best option” for Macau.
Poon made the remarks while speaking to reporters after attending the launching ceremony of the “Tai Fung CTM Visa Signature Credit Card” at Tai Fung Bank Headquarters Building in Nape.
The city’s fixed-network and external telecommunications services are being operated by CTM under a concession contract that is due to expire on December 31.
