The Macau Customs Service said in a statement yesterday that it had busted two illegal immigrant cases early yesterday morning. The two cases happened 10 minutes apart from each other.
The statement said that while patrolling near a bus stop close to Sai Van Bridge in Taipa at 3 a.m. on Monday, customs officers stopped and questioned two men acting suspiciously.
One of the two admitted that he came to Macau illegally earlier this month. The other man, whom he met at a casino, was about to help him leave the city illegally by boat.
