The Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) said in a statement yesterday that as Christmas is almost upon us, it will be releasing newly designed Christmas cards next Monday.

According to the statement, the cards will be available at the General Post Office (GPO) in Largo do Senado and all other post offices in the city, for residents to send their blessings to relatives and friends all over the world. The statement said that the Christmas cards’ design was “beautiful”.

The statement noted each card will cost 15 patacas including postage, adding that the cards can be sent globally without postage stamps, which saves time and money.

The statement did not say how many Christmas cards CTT plans to put on sale.

The cards wish their recipients a Merry Christmas in Chinese (聖誕快樂) and Portuguese (Feliz Natal).
