The Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said in a statement yesterday that on Friday the number of single-day visitor arrivals reached 30,512.

According to the statement, as the COVID-19 pandemic has stabilised in Macau recently, the number of visitor arrivals has been gradually increasing. The statement noted that on Saturday, the number of visitor arrivals almost reached 30,000 as well.

The statement said that MGTO has been promoting the city as a safe and quality destination via WeChat, Weibo, RED, and TikTok. The statement underlined that as there will also be the Macau Light Festival and the Light up Macau Drone Gala in December as well as the Macau Grand Prix and Macau Food Festival this month, MGTO will continue to do its best to attract more visitors to the city to spur an economic revival in local communities and revitalise the local tourism industry.
