Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) announced in a statement yesterday that it had given a donation to Caritas Macau for the 14th consecutive year during the “Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of Caritas Macau – Charity Run of Caritas Macau 2021 (Online Run)” event.
Supporting the organisation’s community services, a cheque of 200,000 patacas was presented to Caritas Macau Executive Director Pun Chi Meng by Senior Vice President of Public Relations of GEG Buddy Lam, adding that both also exchanged views on community work and corporate social responsibility, the statement noted.
The statement pointed out that around 40 GEG team members will be participating in the event this weekend.
The statement underlined that GEG has supported other initiatives by Caritas, such as the Food Recycling Scheme and the Caritas Macau’s Charity Bazaar, which it has supported for 12 consecutive years.
The statement emphasised that GEG will continue to work closely with Macau’s social services organisations and other sectors.
