A local man in his twenties was arrested last week for filming a man when he was using a urinal in the toilet of a casino-hotel resort in Cotai last Monday, the Public Security Police (PSP) said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the victim reported the case to the Public Security Police last Monday. PSP officers arrived at the scene where they met the victim and the suspect. Under questioning, the suspect admitted that he had filmed the victim, but he had deleted the video when he realised that the victim was calling the police.
The statement said that the officers later discovered on the suspect’s smartphone more than 600 video clips of males urinating in public toilets. The suspect told the police that the videos were for his private use only.
The suspect has been transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office (MP), facing charges of child pornography, invasion of privacy and illegal recording and photo taking, according to the statement.
