A driving instructor in his sixties and his about 20-year-old female learner driver were slightly injured after their car was rear-ended by a dump truck near the Macau East Asian Games Dome in Cotai, according to a statement by the Fire Service Bureau (CB).
The accident occurred at the junction of Avenida da Nave Desportiva and Rua do Tiro in Cotai at around 12:30 p.m. yesterday.
According to the statement, the truck rammed into the car being driven by the learner driver, causing her to lose control and hit a kerb underneath the elevated tracks of the light rail transit (LRT) system that are currently under construction.
