Celebrate the CNY holiday with Galaxy Macau

Galaxy Macau is providing guests with a string of delights to celebrate the Chinese New Year (CNY).

A Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) statement yesterday said that Feng Shui Master Mak Ling-ling has been invited to provide guests with CNY tips. Using WeChat, guests can scan designated QR codes for “Golden Tiger Year lucky tips for the 12 Chinese Zodiac Signs”, adding that sharing the game with friends allows for more tips and participation in the Golden Tiger Lucky Draw.

Guests can also shop for gifts at the CNY Market in East Square, which has over 10,000 items and buy-one-get-one-free offers, and prizes worth over a total of 388,888 patacas.

The statement pointed out that Banyan Tree Macau, Galaxy Hotel, Hotel Okura Macau, JW Marriott Hotel Macau, and The Ritz-Carlton are offering a wide range of attractive CNY hotel packages. Starting from 1,388 patacas per night, guests can have a complimentary CNY Welcome Pack worth 800 patacas, which includes a blessing card and a lucky pack from Master Mak. Moreover, StarWorld Hotel is offering a CNY hotel package that starts from 1,288 patacas with privileges such as a dining credit worth 500 patacas.

The statement underlined that StarWorld Hotel, Galaxy Macau and Broadway Macau will present dishes recommended by Master Mak, with over 15 signature restaurants providing dishes, special festive menus, and buffets.

At StarWorld Hotel, the Michelin two-starred and Black Pearl one-diamond restaurants Feng Wei Ju, Temptations, and Sensations also offer festive dishes. Guests born in the Year of the Tiger, which begins on February 1, can enjoy 20 percent off at over 50 restaurants at the sprawling resort by showing their ID card, while guests can receive up to 200 patacas in dining vouchers using UnionPay cards at 10 Galaxy restaurants, which can be used with the Golden Tiger Dining Offer.

At Broadway Macau, the statement said that Hot Pot Sensations offers more than 60 styles of authentic hot pot and casserole dishes, while also presenting Coca-Cola photo spots inspired by old Macau.

Meanwhile, Galaxy’s Promenade Shops feature over 200 international fashion brands with exclusive new year products and offers. The statement said that pop-up stores will also be launched by Macau’s first Delvaux flagship store, Versace, and DFS’s T Galleria Beauty.

“The ART of BAMBOO: from Qilin to Contemporary Art” by Hong Kong artist Louis To will also be shown on the first floor starting from Tuesday for free at GalaxyArt while Numerous CNY movies will also be shown at Galaxy Cinemas, the statement added.

For entertainment, the resort operator said that guests can watch a CNY Diamond Show in the Diamond Lobby, as well as “The Phoenix Returns” in the Crystal Lobby, which celebrates the multi-coloured phoenix’s arrival with drums, music, fireworks, firecrackers, and traditional red lanterns. Guests can also scan a QR code to participate in the WeChat campaign and get a copy of Master Mak’s Chinese New Year lucky pouch.
