TurboJET & Cotai Water Jet to raise fares on HK-Macau ferry routes

Ferry operator TurboJET and Cotai Water Jet announced fare increases for Hong Kong-Macau routes from this Friday, which marks the first fare adjustment for Turbojet in five years since 2017, according to the ferry operator’s official websites.

Following the adjustment, the average economy class Macau/Taipa-Hong Kong Route ticket will cost 175 patacas for weekdays, 190 patacas for weekends and public holidays, and 220 patacas at night, according to the two ferry operators’ official websites.

According to TurboJET, the fare adjustments have received approval from the government and will apply to the Hong Kong-Macau routes as well as the routes between Macau and Hong Kong International Airport, with its fare adjustments ranging from an increase of 8.5 to 10 percent.

TurboJET also announced that it will launch a special promotion for its Hong Kong-Macau route between September 15 and December 15, 2023, with a 10 percent discount offered to passengers who purchase round-trip e-boarding tickets during this period.

Operated by Shun Tak-China Travel, TurboJET provides high-speed ferry services between Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzhen Fu Yong, while the Cotai Water Jet service is managed and operated on behalf of owner Sands China Ltd. by Chu Kong High Speed Ferry Co. Ltd. of Hong Kong.
