An event entitled “Sio Kun Comic Works Exhibition” (少權漫畫作品展) is showcasing six comic creations and several illustrations by local artist Sio Kun at G32 Gallery in São Lázaro district until February 16.

The exhibition uses poster designs to display Sio Kun’s comic styles from the past until the present. Moreover, it aims to showcase the development of Sio Kun’s drawing techniques over the years as well as his exploration in comics, according to a statement by the gallery.

The statement pointed out that Sio Kun’s works often combine society, life, and culture, i.e., using comics to document local lifestyles. The statement added that there are comics and illustrations that were created individually by the artist while others were created with a team.

The works include “I CAN FLY MACAU” and “MOTORCYCLE”.

G32 gallery is located at 32 Rua de São Miguel (聖美基街). It opens from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except on Mondays. Admission is free.

As part of the Macau government’s COVID-19 prevention measures, all visitors are required to wear a facemask, show their digital health code and have their temperature checked.
