WF Fashion, a fashion and lifestyle shop under Forward Fashion (International) Holdings Company Limited (Forward Fashion), has once again joined forces with City of Dreams and APPortfolio, an art organisation, to launch “POP INFINITY” Art Exhibition, resort operator Melco said in a recent statement.
According to the statement, the exhibition and limited-edition art products is available exclusively at Morpheus Hotel, City of Dreams from January 28 to February 27. The statement pointed out that “POP INFINITY” Art Exhibition is returning with a series of art projects inspired by Disney’s classic characters, adding that it has gathered the works of top international artists and designers, unveiling a total of five 1.2m tall Snow Angel Mickey sculptures and a range of exclusive limited-edition artworks. The statement noted that the collaborating artists and designers include Keith Haring, Hikari Shimoda and Takeru Amano.
The statement said that Snow Angel Mickey has the outline of an angel, formed by swinging hands and feet in the snow, which is a symbol inspired by the innocence, delightfulness and boundless imagination of children. The statement underlined that the collaboration hopes to bring art, culture and trendy elements altogether through this dynamic character, making it a cross-border carrier for the art industry.
The statement also said that a total of 19 art products of the endearing Snow Angel Mickey will be released at the exhibition, including the first-ever released 70cm series, which caters to collectors’ different needs. The statement added that the 30cm version series is also a collaboration with artist Wang Dongling who is debuting the new colour collections. The statement stressed that the Macau POP INFINITY Art Exhibition is the world’s first to release a range of Snow Angel Mickey products, including limited-edition neon lights, aroma diffusers and towels.
Meanwhile, the statement said, a series of limited collections by American graffiti artist, Keith Haring, including carpets and skateboards, are exhibited exclusively at WF Fashion, Morpheus store during the exhibition period.
