Grassroots lawmaker Antonio Ng Kuok Cheong has urged the government to take a resolute stance on repossessing plots of land when their respective provisional concessions have expired.

Ng made the appeal in a written interpellation submitted to the Legislative Assembly (AL) yesterday. Copies of the interpellation were sent to the media.

The veteran lawmaker says in his interpellation that 13 plots of land in Nam Van, namely C1, C3, C4, C5, C6, C8, C9, C10, C11, C12, C17, D2 and D5, are provisional land concessions that have already expired, pointing out that the concessions of the 13 plots ended on Saturday.
