The number of new motor vehicle registrations dropped by 31.6 percent year-on-year to 6,869 in the first half of the year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday.
The number of new motorcycle registrations declined by 25.9 percent to 3,809. The number of new light private car registrations fell by 48.4 percent to 2,186 in the first six months of the year.
In June, the number of new motor vehicle registrations dropped by 29.8 percent to 939.
