Central Districts Community Service Consultative Council member Cheong Sok Leng yesterday asked the government to explain why the former headquarters of the Government Information Bureau (GCS) has been empty for years.
Addressing yesterday’s meeting of the government-appointed council at the Public Services Centre in Rotunda de Carlos da Maia.
Cheong, a key member of the Macau General Union of Neighbourhood Associations (Kai Fong), said the former GCS headquarters, a five-storey building in the city centre, should be fully used.
