A man cut open the seat of a motorbike after it blocked his way when he was reversing his vehicle, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Cheuk Kou Chi told reporters on Monday during a regular press conference.
According to Cheuk, the suspect is a 40-year local construction worker surnamed Hoi. Cheuk pointed out that on February 28, the motorcycle owner reported the case to the police. He told the police his motorcycle parked in Avenida do Nordeste had been damaged the previous day. Cheuk said that after watching CCTV footage from the area, the police identified Hoi as the suspect. The police called him in for questioning last Friday. Cheuk said that the suspect admitted to the crime and told the police that he committed it because he was angry about the motorcycle blocking his way out.
The suspect, who faces property damage charges, has been transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office (MP).
