The Macao Digital Photography Association is holding a photo exhibition in celebration of the association’s 20th anniversary, displaying works by mainland, local and Hong Kong photographers, the group has announced recently.
According to a statement by the association, the “Light and Shadow Shine – Photography Exhibition” comprises works from 35 members of the association on display, along with the photographers’ biography. The statement pointed out that among the 35 participants, there are professors of photography, internationally renowned photographers, professional ones and even ones who have only recently got into photography. The statement added, however, that most of them have more than 30 years of photography experience, and they are all communicators who use their artworks as mediums.
The statement said as the 20th anniversary is a memorable one, the association has decided to showcase its members’ works in order to display the beauty of photography, while showing respect for the 35 photography masters.
The exhibition runs until April 30 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily in Lou Lim Ioc Garden.
As part of the government’s COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures, all visitors entering the venue have to wear a facemask, have their temperature checked and present a green Macau Health Code.
