An exhibition titled “Love, Isolation” by local artist Jansky Lei (李志豪), organised by The Manga-Art Creative Association of Macau (MACAM), is on display in Room B09 at the 10 Fantasia gallery until June 4 with free admission.
The exhibition is co-hosted by 10 Fantasia and the St. Lazarus Church District Creative Industries Promotion Association in conjunction with the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and Macau Foundation (FM) as sponsors, according to a recent statement by MACAM.
The statement notes that “Love, Isolation” includes photographs, illustrations, and augmented reality (AR) interactive arts, aiming to introduce the exhibition visitors to the “world” of a post-pandemic era so that they can reflect on the existence of a global virus, the consequences of which have widened the distance between societies from different countries in the wake of a raft of measures such as quarantine, while narrowing the distance between people in the same place and, at the same time, people’s hearts are being opened to each other.
The statement points out that Lei is a local illustrator, whose works have been displayed at different international art exchange exhibitions, such as the Hong Kong-Macau ceramics exchange exhibition in 2010. His works have been selected and won prizes in local and foreign competitions, such as TOKYO_TDC Yearbook front design and the Macao International Contemporary Illustrations Competition, the statement added.
10 Fantasia opens daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on Mondays), at 10 Calçada da Igreja de S. Lázaro.
In line with the Health Bureau’s (SSM) COVID-19 pandemic control and prevention measures, visitors must wear a facemask, undergo a temperature check, present a valid green Macau Health Code, maintain social distancing and follow on-site measures
