An “Exhibition of Selected Works of Macao Comic Challenge”, organised by MAPLE, is on display in Room B07 at the 10 Fantasia gallery until June 25 with free admission
According to a recent MAPLE statement, the exhibition is co-hosted by the St. Lazarus Church District Creative Industries Promotion Association and 10 Fantasia in conjunction with the Macau Foundation (FM) as the sponsor.
The statement points out that the exhibition shows the works that were awarded gold and silver prizes in the competition titled “Macao Comic Challenge 2021”, as well as the “excellent” works themed “Easter” in this year’s competition.
According to the statement, the “Macao Comic Challenge” has been hosted since 2010, aiming to discover talented comic creators in Macau through the annual competition in different categories while injecting new energy into the local comic and animation sector. The statement notes that the competition is divided into three categories – illustration, comic, and novel.
10 Fantasia opens daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on Mondays) at 10 Calçada da Igreja de S. Lázaro.
In line with the Health Bureau’s (SSM) COVID-19 pandemic control and prevention measures, visitors must wear a facemask, undergo a temperature check, present a valid green Macau Health Code, maintain social distancing and follow on-site measures.
