Macau Flying Eagle Association Director-General Kent Yuen Seng Kam said yesterday his group had come up with more protection measures for children who participate in boot camps provided by the group, after one of the group’s male tutors was accused of sexually assaulting six schoolboys who took part in a military training camp last November.
Yuen made the remarks on the sidelines of a ceremony held at the group’s training site in Coloane for children who recently finished a 7-day summer holiday military training camp.
The group says its summer camps have several aims such as improving children’s fitness and mental strength, as well improving their awareness of environmental protection.
