A 32-year-old local woman has been detained by the police for trying to pass cannabis to her husband staying at a COVID-19 quarantine hotel for medical observation, local media reported earlier this week.
According to the reports, the woman was caught on Thursday with 9.4 grammes of cannabis (aka marijuana or hashish) and eight bottles of essential oils containing cannabis, hidden in luggage that she attempted to have delivered by the hotel in Coloane to the guestroom where her husband is being quarantined for observation.
The reports pointed out that the woman tested negative for drugs. She faces drug-trafficking charges.
