Public services stay closed

Various public entities have announced their service arrangements in separate statements owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.


Limited investment residency applications provided

The Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) said that it will continue to suspend most of its public services through Friday, with limited investment residency application services available. Early July summer classes cancelled

Meanwhile, the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) announced that classes for its summer activities organised in conjunction with the Sports Bureau (ID) that were slated to start between July 4-12 have been cancelled. The bureau will notify the participants about refund arrangements via SMS. 

Announcements will be made for classes starting on or after July 13 in accordance with the pandemic’s development. The bureau said that the latest news will be announced at www.summeractivity.gov.mo., while enquiries can be made by calling 2882 2779. 


MGTO maintains limited services

The Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said that it will continue to maintain limited services through Friday. Document submissions can be made at the document collection box on the Hotline Building’s 12th floor, while online service platforms for some of its service categories will operate as usual.

Specialised subsidy programmes can be submitted via MGTO’s online platform when due, while subsidised entities failing to submit a report 30 days after the activity’s completion must fill the “Request form for postponement of activity report submission”, and email it to mgto@macaotourism.gov.mo.

MGTO’s Tourist Information counters at the Barrier Gate, Macau International Airport, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Frontier Post and Qingmao Frontier Post are operating as usual. The Macau Grand Prix Museum and Ritz Building, meanwhile, remain closed. For tourism-related enquiries, MGTO said that its tourism hotline maintains its 24-hour operator service, which can be called at 2833 3000.


CCAC’s external services suspended

Moreover, the Commission Against Corruption’s (CCAC) external services, such as its Complaint Management Centre, Declaration of Assets and Interests Division and its two Branch Offices, will remain suspended through Friday. Filing reports or administrative complaints can be done via CCAC’s online complaint service or the report hotline at 2836 1212. Further details can be found at https://www.ccac.org.mo/en/.
