The “hush! Summer Concert” will be postponed owing to the current COVID-19 outbreak in Macau, while the submission period for the “hush! 300 Seconds” short video competition will be extended accordingly, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) announced in a statement yesterday.

The concert was originally slated to take place from July 9-10.

The “hush! Fair” clarification session, the statement noted, will also be suspended, while an announcement on the rescheduling of all the activities will be made in due course.

The bureau closed its cultural facilities and suspended all cultural activities as well as external services in line with the local government’s COVID-19 pandemic prevention measures in response to the current outbreak, according to the statement.

The bureau, the statement pointed out, will pay close attention to the novel coronavirus pandemic’s development in Macau and act in line with the Health Bureau’s (SSM) guidelines. Further information can be found at www.icm.gov.mo, the IC Art Facebook page and the IC_Art_Macao WeChat account.
