All classes for the summer activities starting on or before July 31 are cancelled, according to a statement from the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) yesterday.

The statement noted that the activities were to be co-organised by the DSEDJ and the Sports Bureau (ID), with the cancellation being in line with the government’s pandemic prevention measures and the current COVID-19 outbreak in the city. Participants will be notified of the refund arrangements via SMS.

Regarding the summer classes slated to start next month, the statement pointed out that arrangements will be announced in due course according to the pandemic’s development. The latest announcements will be made at www.summeractivity.gov.mo, while enquiries on the activities can be made by calling 2882 2779

Meanwhile, in a separate statement, the DSEDJ underlined that its headquarters will only provide limited services from today during office hours, where only document-reception services will be provided, while other services remain suspended until further notice.

Enquiries can be made by calling 2855 5533 or visiting www.dsedj.gov.mo.
