The Civil Protection Operations Centre said in a statement yesterday that it has been in touch with the Property Management Business Association and reminded building management companies to “intensify” supervision and ensure proper management of estate platforms and public spaces, as well as telling the companies to close and supervise all clubhouses that are their responsibility.
The centre communicated with the association through the “community civil protection liaison mechanism”, with the statement coming after the centre noticed some people conducting non-essential activities in the clubhouses of housing estates during this week’s special COVID-19 control and prevention measures ordered by the government.
The centre reminded members of the public to strictly follow all the government’s COVID-19 control and prevention regulations, the statement pointed out.
