The Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) announced yesterday its public service arrangements during the government’s anti-COVID-19 consolidation period which begins tomorrow.

According to a CTT statement, the bureau will again provide general mail delivery services. Only one notice will be sent for registered mail and upon receiving it, the statement said, the recipient can go to the respective post office for collection the following day.

Meanwhile, its EMS services accept again the sending of postal items and resume postal delivery. The statement noted that the recipient (individual customer) is not required to sign the receipt. Details on the adjustments to sending postal items abroad can be found at: https://www.ctt.gov.mo/MacauPost/Contents/News.aspx?pm=3458&lang=zh-tw

Mail marked Carmo Post Office on the mail notice is to be picked up at the Nova Taipa Post Office instead, the statement underlined. The Philatelic Shop remains closed, while the opening hours of selected post offices can be confirmed at https://www.ctt.gov.mo/MacauPost/Contents/News.aspx?pm=3459

Members of the public visiting CTT facilities must wear a KN95 (or a higher standard) facemask, scan the venue QR code and present a valid green Macau Health Code. More information can be found at www.ctt.gov.mo, while enquiries can be made by emailing cttgeral@ctt.gov.mo.

SAFP to offer limited services through July 29

Meanwhile, the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) will maintain limited services from tomorrow through next Friday during the consolidation period, the bureau said in a separate statement yesterday.

The statement noted that to avoid a crowd gathering and lessen the risks of novel coronavirus transmission, members of the public should make reservations for services online or by phone in advance, and then proceed to go to the service locations accordingly.

The official website can be visited at https://www.safp.gov.mo/, while the bureau can be contacted by telephone on 2832 3623 or by sending an email to info@safp.gov.mo.
