Robber uses telescopic baton: police

A spokesperson for the Judiciary Police (PJ) said in a special press conference yesterday that a local robber used a telescopic baton when to commit the crime. 

The spokesperson said the attempted robbery took place in Areia Preta Park on Monday last week.

According to the spokesperson, the 38-year-old suspect, surnamed Tam, is unemployed.
