The Marine and Water Bureau (DSAMA) announced in a statement yesterday that the passenger ferry service between Macau’s Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal and Wanzai in Zhuhai resumes today.

The statement said that the ferry will depart every 30 minutes at the beginning of the resumption, adding that more sailings will be added to the schedule based on the actual situation. Passengers should contact the ferry company for specific ticketing information, the statement noted.

The statement did not say when the ferry starts and ends operating every day.

The bureau urged passengers to be aware of the latest COVID-19 border control measures between Macau and Guangdong before boarding the vessel, adding that residents should reduce unnecessary cross-border activities as the novel coronavirus situation in neighbouring areas is still unstable.

The statement underlined that the bureau has already requested the ferry operator, cleaning company and a government’s outsourced security company to clean and disinfect the public facilities at the terminal and on the ferry.
