The Macau Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) said in a statement yesterday that it will stop using the paper-based Posting Registered Mail Form (CTT-38) from September 1.

Senders, according to the statement, do not need to fill in the form anymore when posting registered mail, adding that the registered mail’s receipt will be sent to them in electronic form after posting.

CTT pointed out that senders of non-letter items to all countries or regions outside the city “should submit electronic customs declaration information before posting”, noting that the current customs declaration procedure can still be used.
